For the international students enrolled in our Faculty's English Medical Program, it is compulsory to obtain a Turkish (TÖMER) certificate minimum at the level of B2 while starting the 4th class. Being a clinical student in the 4th grade, the students must understand, speak and write Turkish in order to communicate with the patients properly, gain their confidence and make an appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Turkish will be spoken in the Clinics in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades of the medical education.
