The midwifery profession requires taking care of the health of the mother and baby during pregnancy, during and after the birth. Thus, thanks to midwives, necessary medical assistance is provided in any extraordinary situation, and emergency measures are taken.
İnnovative curriculum has been prepared to train midwives who are aware of their responsibilities and who can provide the necessary health counseling and education to the family and society. This curriculum includes classes on prenatal education, parenting preparation, sexual health as well as child care.
Midwifery undergraduate program; carries out an education plan to train midwives with a bachelor's degree. The purpose of the program; aiming to protect and improve the health of the individual, family, society and especially the mother and child; providing necessary care and counseling during pregnancy, birth and postpartum period; To train contemporary midwives with high self-confidence who have the ability, competence, knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide midwifery services.
